Two senior figures have been appointed to leading roles at the Commonwealth Games Association of the Isle of Man.
Graeme Hatcher takes up the post as General Team Manager with Erica Bellhouse securing the role of Chef de Mission ahead of the 2022 games in Birmingham.
Erica Bellhouse has been involved in sports administration in the Isle of Man for 15 years - within cycling, she's played a key role in organising the Isle of Man Youth Tour for over ten years and also been involved with Manx Gymnastics and the Isle of Man Swimming Club.
Meanwhile, Mr Hatcher has over 25 years’ experience as a competitor and administrator and as a cyclist he represented the Isle of Man at three Commonwealth Games between 2002 and 2010.
Both take up the new positions with immediate effect, with process of setting standards, qualification periods and general planning now underway.
President of the Commonwealth Games Association, Basil Bielich, says both Erica and Graeme bring many years experience to their new roles and are well respected within the Manx sporting community.
