£700,000 is spent each year transferring 'forensic patients' off the Isle of Man for treatment at UK hospitals.
That's according to the Department of Health and Social Care which says funding those who are in need of help, and in the criminal justice system, is a 'significant challenge'.

The revelation was made in Tynwald last month when it was asked to approve an £11.1 million overspend.
That decision sparked an investigation by the Public Accounts Committee - today is the last day for submissions from members of the public.
