The Mountain Road has now reopened to traffic.
The Department of Infrastructure said that it's reopened the section of road between Brandywell (Beinn Y Phott Road) and the Creg Ny Baa.
A temporary speed restriction of 40mph is in place and there are traffic lights between the Creg Ny Baa and Brandish Corner for surfacing repairs.
It's in place overnight.
