A section of the Dhoon Glen is now closed due to unsafe trees.
The area affected is on part of the lower path that runs next to the river, and had previously been indicated as 'temporarily closed.'
Garff Commissioners say there are around 30 to 60 trees in very poor condition, that could pose a danger to the public.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture recommend that the trees are left to fall naturally.
