Secret Santa's on the Island are being asked to consider halving their budgets in order to 'spread the joy' this Christmas.
It's part of a festive fundraising campaign by the Isle of Man Live at Home Schemes which support around 700 older members of the Manx community:
Many elderly people on the Island will be spending Christmas and New Year alone - spokeswoman Jan Farrell says financial donations will provide on-going support:
