A second yellow weather warning has been issued for tomorrow for coastal overtopping.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says gale force winds leading up to the time of high tide will bring water and debris onto exposed roads and promenades.
It's thought Shore Road in Rushen, Douglas Promenade, Castletown Promenade and possibly Laxey and Ramsey Promenades will be affected.
The warning is in place between 12:30-4pm.
