The government is looking for a new site which can be used for off-road motorcycling after a popular space was closed.
Cross Vein in Foxdale - also known as Snuff the Wind - was a popular place for riders to race and practice but earlier this month was closed to the public after contaminants linked to historic metal mining were found in the ground there.
Now, officials say they're looking at a specific area in an 'environmentally sustainable' location which they hope can become a safe space for young children to practice and learn to ride.
Motorcycle clubs and organisations are being reminded they can apply to DEFA to hold practice days on the forestry estate for any age group in the same way applications are done for competitive trials, enduro or recreational activity.
