More than 40 seagulls have been rescued by the MSPCA and Peel Coastguard after being found coated in oil in Peel.
They were found in a very poor condition by a member of the public on Thursday afternoon.
The substance they were covered in has not yet been identified but it made it impossible for them to fly away.
