Installing changing rooms at the Sea Terminal would cost the goverment up to £100,000.
That's according to the Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall who faced questions about the facility from Douglas South MHK Sarah Maltby.
She asked if his department had looked into providing a changing place facility there.
Mr Crookall said a review had been carried out but no suitable location had been found.
