Palace cinema screenings have been cancelled today following a fire this morning.
The cinema confirmed at around 9am this morning, the fire service was called out after an alarm call was triggered by a minor fire in the filter of the Screen 2 boiler.
The incident was quickly dealt with, and no damage was caused other than to the filter and its cover.
However due to the remedial work arising from the incident, the cinema has had to cancel the showing scheduled for today.
The Cinema will be back in operation tomorrow, with additional showings scheduled for No Time to Die.
The business has apologised to customers impacted by the issue and say rescheduled bookings will be offered at the earliest possible time.
