A Scottish company has denied breaking the Island’s fishing laws.
Star Fishing of Oban in Scotland appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Through its advocate Jim Travers, the company pleaded not guilty to failing to submit fishing logbook data on December 3 last year.
The court heard the allegation relates to a scallop fishing vessel, the Star of Jura.
Magistrates adjourned the case and the company will next appear at a pre-trial review hearing on September 14.
