Schools closed due to snow

Wintry weather means all Island schools are closed today.

The Department of Education, Sport and Culture announced the decision shortly after 7.30am.

King William’s College and Buchan School are also shut.

Police are warning people not to make any journeys today unless absolutely necessary.

All Island schools closed today, Friday 8 December.
