The government says the cost of school meals will rise later this year.
Parents must pay an extra 15p for primary school meals from November 4.
The price will rise from £2.40 per meal to £2.55 but those on free school meals will be unaffected.
The Minister for Education, Sport and Culture Daphne Caine says the increase is because of a rising cost of producing food.
