Scammers target injured TT rider's fans

A racing website is warning sick scammers are targeting one of its writers who lost a leg during a crash at this year's TT.

Mike Booth suffered the life-changing injuries after coming off at Joey's during the last day of practice week.

On Twitter, the journalist and competitor's website 44 Teeth revealed a number of scam fundraisers have been set up in his name.

It's warning people not to donate to the crowdfunding pages.

Please do not donate to any of the crowdfunding sites already setup for Boothy. We (including Boothy) have no idea who/what they are!
