Sarah's Law back up for debate in House of Keys

New Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson will be asked about the future of Sarah\'s Law on the Isle of Man

One of the key issues prior to Septembers election will be raised in Tuesday's sitting of the House of Keys.

Member for Douglas North, Bill Henderson will ask the new Home Affairs Minister, Juan Watterson, how he intends to proceed with the possible introduction of Sarah's Law.

He will be asked for his viewpoint on the matter, if it will be introduced and if not, then why not?

Sarah's Law endeavours to give parents the right to know if there are any known sex offenders living in their area that could potentially pose a threat to their children.

Its already been rolled out across the UK.

The potential for it being introduced on the Island gathered pace in the months leading upto the election thanks to an Island wide petition and campaign spearheaded by a group of concerned parents.
