A cat who had lifesaving surgery after the public raised thousands of pounds for his treatment is on his way to making a full recovery.
The ManxSPCA posted an update on Sandy, who was taken to the charity suffering severe injuries after being found at Sandygate in the north of the Island.
An appeal to raise £4,000 for his treatment blasted past its target in just a day.
In a post on Facebook, the organisation says he's still wearing a special boot on his paw for mobility, but is steadily getting better - and has been active enough in recent days to make new furry friends!
