The Samaritans on the isle of Man are seeking new volunteers to help with their service.
An open evening is being held next Thursday in Douglas to recruit more people who can provide support to those who express despairing and often suicidal feelings.
At the moment there are 65 Samaritans working at the Isle of Man branch.
We spoke to Deputy Director Responsible for recruitment and selection, Babs, who said that the service helps a huge number of people.
