Movie star Sam Barks has backed calls for a public vote about a windfarm in the south of the Island.
Those opposed to plans for wind turbines at Earystane are calling for the vote in an online petition which has almost 600 signatures.
Earlier today, Sam – who’s originally from Laxey – told her 136,000 followers “100% yes there should be a public vote!”
