Numerous sailings from this evening through to Friday are facing possible disruption due to the expected arrival of Storm Ellen.
The Steam Packet Company says tonight's 7.45pm service to Heysham and it's return at 2.15am on Thursday morning could be subject to delays or cancellation with a decision on both to be made by 6pm tonight.
Meanwhile on Thursday the 7.45pm Ben-my-Chree voyage to the Lancashire port is also in doubt with a verdict on that crossing to be made by 6pm tomorrow.
Elsewhere, the Mannanan services to and from Liverpool this Friday at 7.30am and the return at 11.45am also face the possibility of being called off - the Steam Packet says a final decision for those will be made by 6am that morning (August 21).
Finally, on that same day, a final call will be made at 6.30am that morning on the Ben-my-Chree sailings to and from Heysham currently scheduled for 8am and 2.15pm respectively.
