The Steam Packet Company says it hopes people understand it has little control over the weather.
It's been a tough few weeks for the company with prolonged bad weather leading to numerous cancellations.
Due to adverse weather conditions today this morning's sailing to Heysham at 8.45am has been cancelled.
The return journey at 2.15pm is also off. A decision on tonight's sailings will be taken at 4pm.
