A petition demanding Peel commissioners leave the town's sailing club alone has attracted more than 100 signatures in a single day.
Yesterday, the change.org petition was launched calling for Peel Sailing and Cruising Club to be allowed to keep the building its members built more than 30 years ago.
The town's local authority says it wants to take the building off the club in 2028 when the lease ends and put it out to tender.
So far, the petition has garnered 202 signatures.
