A former Methodist preacher and law lecturer claims proposed safe access zones are an intrusion on human rights.
Peter Murcott will give a talk about the Safe Access Zones And Protected Public Places Bill which aims to protect patients from intimidation or harassment outside health facilities.
Similar zones were created to protect pregnant women considering terminating their pregnancy.
Mr Murcott, who objected to new laws on abortion, same-sex marriages and assisted dying, will give his talk on Wednesday, March 5 at Loch Promenade Methodist Church in Douglas at 7pm.
