Russian residents on the Isle of Man have 'been getting abuse' amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
That's according to police - who have taken to social media to share messages of support for people from both countries.
Two posts - one translated into Ukrainian and one into Russian read:
"We understand that there are many events happening in the world today that may cause you anxiety and worry.
We want you to feel safe on the Isle of Man.
To the Isle of Man Police, you are an integral part of our society. Please contact us if you need our help.
Our phone number is 631212 email police@gov.im"
The translations on the posts were overseen by Ukrainian and Russian speakers within the Police, however officers have said Facebook translation is 'less than accurate.
