Three people were left trapped in their car yesterday after a crash with a heavy goods vehicle.
It happened at around 4.50pm at Corlea Road in Ballasalla.
Paramedics treated the people trapped in the car while 'space creation' was carried out by the fire crews - all three were taken to Noble's Hospital.
The driver was released from hospital after treatment but the two passengers were kept in overnight for observation - the heavy goods driver escaped without injury.
