Onchan commissioners say they'll look for a new home for a war memorial after a row with the Island's war memorial committee.
As the last meeting of the local authority, members discussed a letter from the Isle of Man Preservation of War Memorials Committee about the Ancient Order of Foresters Memorial which had been removed from Heywood Court.
Commissioners said they were disappointed to be accused of not respecting the memorial and those who served in the military.
The board voted to try to work with the committee to find a suitable place for it.
