Residents are reminded there will be no routine GP appointments available on Island this afternoon.
Slots between 1pm and 6pm will be unavailable as GP's attend their latest education session.
Practices will, however, be open for patients to collect test results, book future appointments and collect repeat prescriptions as normal.
Anyone who needs to see a doctor urgently during that time is asked to ring their practice and make an appointment with the on-call GP.
