The Strang could see its speed limit cut by 10mph, if Braddan Commissioners get their wish.
At a recent meeting, the board said the Roundhouse has seen more pedestrians in the area using the facility.
As a result, it wants to reduce speed limits around the Strang roundabout to 20mph to improve road safety.
The local authority is to ask the Department of Infrastructure about the proposal.
