Rotary launches hurricane relief appeal

The Rotary Club of Onchan has launched an appeal for funds to help those affected by hurricanes in the Caribbean.

Appeal coordinator Nigel Dobson says all the money raised will be sent directly to the Hurricane Irma Disaster Recovery Fund.

Multiple hurricans have recently struck the Islands and continue to leave destruction in their wake.

Mr Dobson says volunteers in the devastated areas will ensure every penny is spent where it will help most.
