MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi pays tribute to TT legend John McGuinness at Silverstone.
In a video for BT Sport, Rossi was shown the names of various drivers he had contested and singled out McGuinness, saying “I’m always in contact with him”.
When asked if he would ever participate in the Manx race alongside McGuinness, Rossi joked: “I don’t want to race against him at the TT, he’s too fast!”.
The TT star shared his appreciation of the clip over Twitter.
John McGuinness is one of the most successful TT riders in history with 23 wins, second only to Joey Dunlop with 26 wins.
Amazing for him to say them kind words. #GOAT https://t.co/i0VKZ3xYyY
