After heavy snow fall over night in the South of the Island Ronaldsway Airport had been forced to close this morning whilst a clear up operation took place on the runway.
They are now hopeful that they will be able to reopen at 10.00am after a successful attempt at removing the snow.
There is blanket of snow still lying around the area of the airport, and motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution.
