Roadworks are due to take place on Thursday and Friday of this week at the Billown Crossroads.
The work to be carried out is to remove an existing chamber, which is situated in the centre of the carriageway.
It’s hoped that the removal of the junction box will improve the ride quality through the junction and reduce ongoing maintenance.
During the course of the works the Department will use 24 hour traffic signals and apologise for any inconvenience to motorists, pedestrians and residents.
