The Department of Infrastructure says roadworks are needed at the Quarterbridge roundabout in April.
It says they need to make repairs to the road surface and an overnight closure is needed to allow the new surface to harden.
The junction at the Quarterbridge roundabout with Quarter Bridge Road will be closed to all traffic with diversions in place.
Work will start on Thursday, April 17 from 6.30pm with the road opening no later than 8am Friday, April 18.
