Three major roadwork schemes set to get underway in Douglas have been described as a “logistical nightmare”.
That’s the view of Chief Minister Allan Bell who says he appreciates the disruption that the works will cause for the public.
However he is adamant that a decision last week to progress with a £4 million project to reconstruct Peel Road was the right one.
That will get underway in March with redevelopment work on the promenades due to start in September.
