The DOI says many roads have now re-opened, but motorists are being advised to drive with extra caution due to storm debris across the road network.
Those remaining closed are the Ramsey Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa on the Mountain Road and parts of both the Sulby Glen Road and Ballavale.
Due to snow being predicted overnight, the department intends to salt the Mountain Road, Sulby Glen and Beinn-y-Phott this afternoon subject to weather conditions.
