Efforts have begun on improving surfaces on a series of important highways on Island.
The Department of Infrastructure says it'll be carrying out the work on the A1 between Douglas and St Johns and then from St Johns up to Ramsey.
DOI officials say the project is expected to last between three and four weeks.
They add it will be carried out gradually up to Ramsey over that time and that the public will be kept updated on the progress.
