A broken window at Pulrose Power Station means the road running past it will close this lunchtime.
Last night, a pane of glass shattered on the top part of the building and police closed Pulrose Road as glass fell onto the pavement below.
The Manx Utilities Authority says it's trying to discover why the high-quality pane failed.
A clean-up to clear the debris will take place today, and the road will shut from 1.15pm.
