Port Erin RNLI says it was called out to two paddleboarders in trouble yesterday afternoon.
They'd been blown offshore by the wind on Thursday, June 25.
The charity says when they arrived crews found one boarder had fallen into the water and was clinging to a rock, and the other was hanging on to a fishing buoy.
Shortly after returning to the town's station, the crew had to launch again to deal with a small boat which had broken free from a yacht it was moored to.
The charity's reminding people that if the beach flags are pointing towards the sea, the wind is blowing offshore - and If in doubt, don’t head out.
