Peel RNLI lifeboat crews were launched on Monday after a yacht ran aground in Jurby.
The 35ft vessel had become stranded on the sewage pipe and couldn't be moved until the tide rose.
Six people were rescued, with the lifeboat launched again at 6pm to move it back to safe water.
The yacht had suffered engine problems due to the 'entanglement with the pipe' and was towed back to Peel.
