Port St Mary RNLI were called out to help a group of paddleboarders in difficulty last night.
=The incident happened around 8.40pm on Monday, July 20 at Gansey Point.
The RNLI says two of the boarders had become stranded on rocks, while the third had managed to make it to shore.
Lifeboat helm Morgan Guy says it serves a reminder to carry flotation devices and a means of calling for help, and be careful where you launch paddleboards as beaches with offshore winds can be risky.
