An anniversary launch raised £32,000 for the Isle of Man's five lifeboat stations.
A gala occasion was held to mark the start of a year of celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the RNLI.
The event at the Comis Hotel was enjoyed by 230 people, who raised the huge total for the life-saving service.
The Isle of Man is the birthplace of the RNLI, which was founded by William Hillary.
