Steam Packet workers must not be blamed for the latest Covid-19 lockdown.
That's according to the RMT union, which has issued a statement following the start of the latest 21-day circuit break on Island.
Its General Secretary, Mick Cash, says whilst it supports the Manx governments decision to head back into lockdown restrictions, ferry workers have kept the Island's people, health services and businesses supplied with food, medicine and other important goods throughout the pandemic.
RMT adds it'll work with all parties to make sure infection rates are brought down back under control ahead of 'a successful re-opening of the Manx economy'.
