Rising Manx music star shines at the Villa

A local singer-songwriter took to the stage of the Villa Gaiety last night, as the support act for country music stars, The Shires.

Rising music star Alice Ashe was born and raised on the Isle of Man and has gained a huge following on social media, with over 111,000 likes on Tik Tok alone.

Describing her own music as psychedelic folk for wandering souls, Alice has her own debut EP coming out later this year.

Supporting the British country music duo, Alice performed a mix of original songs and well known covers.
