The funding, which is from the Manx Lottery Trust, is a step in enhancing the Peveril Rifle Club's new clubhouse.
A spokesperson from the club says adverse weather conditions at Windy Corner have affected structures over the past two decades, and the current clubhouse now isn't big enough as membership has quadrupled.
The new facility will better integrate with the surrounding landscape and be more disability friendly.
