TT rider Karl ‘Bomber’ Harris has died following an incident during today’s Superstock race.
The three time British Supersport champion was killed after coming off on the mountain section of the course at the 26th milestone.
34-year-old Harris from Humber in Sheffield was on the last lap of the four lap race when it happened.
He made his TT debut in 2012 and finished 16th in last year’s Superstock race.
Race organisers say he was one of the ‘great characters’ in the paddock with an ‘infectious enthusiasm and sense of humour’.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed and an investigation is now underway.
