The Department of Infrastructure have announced a delay to the completion of the Richmond Hill highway improvement scheme.
The scheme was scheduled for completion earlier in the month, but this has been delayed due to the late decision to replace a water main and the recent spell of sub zero temperatures.
Motorists are reminded that the section of New Castletown Road from Spring Valley roundabout to Speke Lane at the top of Richmond Hill is still subject to a 30mph speed limit until the work is completed.
This includes the Christmas and New Year period.
The work is now not anticipated to be completed until early 2011.
