Richmond Hill will be closed to through traffic this weekend until midnight tomorrow.
The closure is enforced to allow the Department’s workforce to tie the new road with the existing one at the southern end of the works; there will also be bulk earthmoving operations.
When the road reopens tomorrow night there will be temporary traffic signals on the section of road between Rosehill Farm and Beaconsfield Cottage.
A further weekend closure will be required before the work is completed.
