 
                            A retiring police inspector who started the Manx police force's journey into social media says he's "immensely proud" of what's been achieved.
Derek Flint started tinkering with Facebook in 2009 when working as part of the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Since then the Isle of Man Constabulary has embraced various platforms - with a dedicated Tweetbeat Twitter profile:
