Two local restaurants have suspended its takeaway service after two of its staff tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Forge and the Abbey gave the update this evening and says the takeout service has been halted with immediate effect for the safety of customers and staff.
The team there says they’re ‘desperately sorry’ for any disappointment this could cause especially with the upcoming Mother’s Day weekend.
Anyone with bookings is asked to get in touch to receive a full refund and the members of staff affected are being wished a speedy recovery.
