Villa Fusion on Harris Promenade announced the news on social media.
It says it's deeply saddened by the death of Dougie Gardner, and it'll close for the foreseeable future.
On Facebook, the eatery says it hasn't been an easy choice, and it hopes to announce its plans for the site in the near future.
