Some nursing homes on the Island cost more than £1,000 a week.
The figure was revealed by the Health and Social Care Minister in the House of Keys on Tuesday.
Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft asked David Ashford for the average cost per bed in residential homes across the Isle of Man.
He said care homes with nursing care range from £920 to £1,005 per week, and homes without additional care cost from £464 to £835.
